PHILADELPHIA (AP) John Davis scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Towson held off Drexel to take a 69-65 win on Saturday for the Tigers' fourth straight victory.

Jordan McNeil scored eight straight points to give Towson (17-10, 9-5 Colonial Athletic Association) an 11-point lead with nine minutes to go before the Dragons rallied to take a 62-61 lead with 2 1/2 minutes remaining after Kurk Lee made a free throw for his eighth point in a 16-4 run. But Davis had a bucket and Mike Morsell added a jumper then got behind the defense for a breakaway dunk for a 67-63 edge with a minute to go.

Despite three straight Towson turnovers, Drexel (9-18, 3-11) managed only a layup by Lee. William Adala Moto ensured the win with two free throws with nine seconds left after the Dragons had to foul four times in the final 22 seconds to get the Tigers to the line.

Alex Thomas had a career-high 14 rebounds for Towson. Lee led Drexel with 18 points with Sammy Mojica adding 15.
