UNC Basketball: Tar Heels to wear new Air Jordan Super Fly
Jordan Brand delivers another awesome UNC-inspired colorway of a shoe that the Tar Heels will soon sport
It feels like we are starting to do these posts a little more often now.
February is finally here and that means another awesome colorway of an Air Jordan shoe that the North Carolina Tar Heels will be sporting.
The program’s official Twitter account tweeted a photo of the Air Jordan Super Fly in a crisp all-white colorway featuring Carolina Blue accents.
It’s just the latest Player Edition UNC shoe that the team has received.

In January we showed you a new colorway of the Air Jordan 31 that the Tar Heels sported for their game against Virginia Tech. It was part of the Coaches vs. Cancer week which has helped raise over $100 million for the American Cancer Society.
Playing at UNC certainly has its perks, shoes-wise. We’ve seen numerous Player Editions of Air Jordans both new and in retros.
Like all of the other colorways we have featured, these likely won’t hit the stores anytime soon.
There’s a reason why they are considered “Player Editions’ as players, staff members and former players are the only ones to receive these.
If you’re lucky, you might be able to grab a pair at UNC’s garage sale at the end of the school year.
The event returned in 2016 and featured several pairs of shoes from UNC athletic programs.
The Tar Heels will likely sport these during their upcoming home game against Notre Dame in the Dean Dome. So be on the lookout to see which players exactly lace up the new sneaker.
