UNC Wilmington edges William & Mary 97-94 in OT

WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) Denzel Ingram scored a career-high 30 points, and his two free throws with four seconds left preserved North Carolina-Wilmington's 97-94 overtime win over William & Mary on Saturday.

Ingram scored seven of the Seahawks' 14 points in overtime. C.J. Bryce's layup put UNCW (12-5, 4-2 Colonial Athletic Association) on top for good with 18 seconds left in the extra session.

Omar Prewitt hit two free throws for the Tribe (12-5, 4-2) with 42 seconds to play to tie it at 83 in regulation. Both teams missed 3-pointers in the final 17 seconds.

Ingram's 30-point effort was the 29th time in school history a Seahawks player scored 30 or more points. He shot 10 for 17 from the field (8 for 13 from 3) and 2 for 2 at the line.

Bryce added 20 points for the Seahawks.

Prewitt and Sean Sheldon led the Tribe with 20 points each.
