UT Martin rallies to beat Tennessee Tech 96-90

MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) Alex Anderson and Jacolby Mobley scored 20 points apiece and UT Martin rallied to beat Tennessee Tech 96-90 on Wednesday night, ending the Golden Eagles' four-game winning streak.

Twymond Howard scored 19 points, Richard Lee added 18 and Myles Taylor 15 for the Skyhawks (10-8, 2-1 Ohio Valley Conference), who shot 16 of 25 from long distance (64 percent).

Trailing 46-41 at halftime, UT Martin rallied to a 58-51 lead after an 8-0 run in which Howard and Mobley each hit 3-pointers and pulled ahead by 11 with 12 minutes left.

The Golden Eagles closed to within 86-84 on Ryan Martin's free throw with 1:56 left, but Richard Lee's free throw and a 3 by Alex Anderson with 54 seconds to go put the Skyhawks up 92-85. UT Martin held on by outscoring Tennessee Tech 4-2 down the stretch.

Aleksa Jugovic scored 25 points and Martin added 22 for Tennessee Tech (12-6, 4-1).
