BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) Trae Bell-Haynes tied a career-high with 27 points to surpass 1,500 career points and Vermont won its 14th straight with an 81-69 victory over UMass Lowell on Sunday to clinch a home playoff game.

Vermont (21-5, 11-0 America East) has also won 32 straight regular-season conference games and 21 consecutive contests at home. The Catamounts are one of seven teams in the country without a conference loss - after No. 2 Virginia, 11th-ranked Saint Mary's and Pennsylvania lost league games on Saturday. UVM has not lost a regular-season conference game since Feb. 8, 2016 at UMass Lowell.

Vermont went on a 10-0 run, with two 3-pointers by Everett Duncan, to tie it at 32-all and the Catamounts led 44-38 at the break behind Bell-Haynes' 14 points. With a second-half layup, Bell-Haynes became the ninth Vermont player to reach 1,500 points.

Jahad Thomas paced UMass Lowell (9-15, 3-8) with 23 points.
