Villanova cancels all classes after title game thriller

Published Apr. 5, 2016 7:37 a.m. ET

After the Villanova Wildcats won the NCAA title Monday night, beating North Carolina 77-74 on an amazing buzzer-beater, the school announced it was canceling all classes on Tuesday for both the main university and the law school.

Of course, we saw the Villanova fans losing their minds en masse after the game, so it's pretty unlikely many of these kids were making it to class anyway.

We think this move might just be to spare teachers and other staff having to come in to a deserted campus.

And for those students who were really looking forward to some study time, at least the library is open.
