Villanova remains No. 1 in latest AP poll for third straight week

Villanova remains atop the latest Associated Press college basketball rankings with an 11–0 record heading into the holidays.

The Wildcats are coming off a week in which they downed Notre Dame 74–66 and Temple 78–57. Villanova received 56 first-place votes.

UCLA is ranked second with three first-place votes.

This week's lone game between two ranked teams features the in-state rivalry between No. 6 Kentucky and No. 10 Louisville on Wednesday.
