FARMVILLE, Va. (AP) Isaiah Walton had 20 of his 22 points in the second half to help Longwood overcome an 11-point deficit Wednesday night and beat Presbyterian 79-76.

Presbyterian (4-10, 0-3 Big South) scored the first four points after intermission to lead 42-31, and Walton then scored 15 points during the Lancers' 17-5 rally to give Longwood (6-8, 3-0) a one-point lead with 14 minutes left.

The teams traded the lead three times over the next seven minutes before Longwood took the lead for good at 62-61 on Isaac Belton's 3-pointer with 6:49 left.

The Lancers then held on after a 6-0 run to pull ahead 75-68 with 1:12 left. Reggie Dillard missed the rim on a contested 3-point attempt at the buzzer that would have sent it to overtime for the Blue Hose.
