We think Wildcat Aaron Gordon is going to blow your mind in the NBA Dunk Contest
Zach LaVine decided NOT to be a part of the NBA Slam Dunk Contest this season, why take a chance at being embarrassed?
It’s almost that time of year again, the NBA All-Star game and related activities and contests surrounding the game. One of the most favorite events for fans is the NBA Dunk Contest.
It’s too bad the Lakers Larry Nance Jr. is not healthy enough to compete, and Zach LaVine (former Bruin) doesn’t want to jinx it and bowed out, but there is a silver lining for Arizona Wildcats fans: Aaron Gordon is entering the contest this year hoping to walk away with the trophy.
Most NBA fans thought he won last season, but this is a subjective contest and some of the judges, we guess, didn’t go for the props? Who knows, we only know we have never ever seen the type of dunk that Aaron Gordon successfully completed.

The Dunk Contest will showcase the talents of the Orlando Magic’s Aaron Gordon, the Clippers DeAndre Jordon (he is a dunking machine), the Indian Pacers Glenn Robinson III, and 19-year-old Phoenix Sun Derrick Jones Jr.
The TNT announcers, including one of the judges from last season Shaquille O’Neal, interviewed Gordon on their show. Here is the entire interview:

This is where it all started for Aaron Gordon, at the Arizona Red and Blue game, he blew McKale’s roof off with these dunks:
We can’t wait to see what Aaron has in store for all of us, this time, maybe, he will get his trophy! Bear Down Aaron!
