PITTSBURGH (AP) — Eric Williams, Jr. started a comeback midway through the second half with a 3-pointer as Duquesne stormed back from 15 points down and surged past Longwood 80-71 on Sunday afternoon.

Williams scored 22 points with 12 rebounds, Lamar Norman Jr. added 15 points and Tavian Dunn-Martin 11 — all in the second half —with six assists and Duquesne (6-2) remained a perfect 5-0 at the A.J. Palumbo Center.

Williams matched his season high on 6-of-11 shooting, with three 3-pointers and a 7-of-8 effort at the line. The sophomore had a double-double for the third time this season. Norman, a freshman, scored his career best.

JaShaun Smith led the Lancers (7-4) with 20 points and Shabooty Phillips scored 18 with seven assists. The two scored 25 in the first half when Longwood shot 61 percent, never trailed and led 47-32 at the break.
