For the second time this season, the Xavier Musketeers swept the Big East weekly honors.

Trevon Bluiett was named Big East Player of the Week for the second time this year, while Edmond Sumner earned Big East Freshman of the Week honors for the fifth time.

Bluiett, the team's leading scorer at 15.3 points per game, scored 23 in an 85-74 win over No. 23 Providence on Tuesday night. He posted 13 points in Saturday's 88-70 victory at Georgetown.

Sumner, the redshirt freshman point guard, dropped a career-high 22 points against the Hoyas, helping the Musketeers avenge a conference loss from last month. The 6-foot-5 Sumner scored 11 points in only 12 minutes against the Friars. He left the game in the second half with an injury. Although, he was cleared to return, he remained on the bench as a precaution.

Neither Bluiett nor Sumner had the most impressive performance of the week for Xavier. That would go to junior guard Myles Davis, who recorded the program's first triple-double in five years with a 11-point, 12-rebound and 12-assist effort against Providence.
