Wisconsin essentially locked up an NCAA Tournament berth on Wednesday night with a 67-59 win over No. 8 Iowa.

Midway through the second, Wisconsin freshman guard Khalil Iverson capped a 12-4 run, putting the Badgers up 53-51, with a two-handed, double-pump slam. The dunk actually made one of his teammates on the bench fall to the ground.

Iowa would eventually reclaim the lead, but the Wisconsin defense held Iowa without a field goal for the final six minutes of regulation.

Bronson Koenig had 15 points. Iverson had nine off the bench. Peter Jok led all scorers with 21 points in a losing effort.

Wisconsin has won nine of 10. Greg Gard is 11-5 since taking over for Bo Ryan.
