2014 Texas loss provides motivation for some Cowboy players

There's nothing quite like a revenge game.

Oklahoma State, now ranked, squares off with Texas this weekend in what might be the most intriguing game on the Big 12 docket. The Longhorns have been up and down this season -- they got pummeled by Notre Dame, beat Rice handily and last week, while they lost in a heartbreaker, they seemingly found their QB of the future in Jerrod Heard.

They also beat Oklahoma State last season. That's only going to add fuel to the fire on the Cowboys' side of the ball in this one.

"Last year, Texas was probably rock bottom for us," quarterback J.W Walsh said. "So starting off the Big 12, we want to have a big win against a big opponent on the road, especially because of last year."
