It's never too early to get a head start on recruiting 5-star athletes. This weekend, Stanford brought in 2017 5-star CB prospect Darnay Holmes.
Holmes is one of the most coveted defensive backs in the class and is an early target for the Cardinal.
Here is what Holmes had to say about the visit:
"Me and my uncle watched the highlight tape and got a campus tour with facts about the historical things Stanford is about, who founded it, how many achievements, just things that motivate me," Holmes said, according to Andy Drukarev of Cardinal Sports Report. "Right when I got on campus I just wanted to strive for greatness, honestly. Stanford is known nationally. What I want to major is in is (in the business realm) and they have a great department for that. So when I got on campus I was happy to be there and definitely honored."
