3-star ATH Jalen Thompson gives verbal commitment to Cougars

The Cougars coaching staff has spent the past week scouring Southern California for prospects. For their hard work, they've received a verbal commitment from Downey High School's Jalen Thompson, a 3-star athlete.

Thompson, who is 5'11" and 169 pounds, had other offers from Army, Navy, New Mexico State and San Diego State. He is projected to be a cornerback in college, but plays on both sides of the ball for his high school team. 

Thompson's verbal commitment makes him the fourth member of Wazzu's 2016 recruiting class.
