ACC Football: UNC-Miami kickoff time set
UNC has a tough two weeks ahead with Virginia Tech and Miami. Now we know the official kickoff times for those games
The Atlantic Coast Conference is starting to heat up as we enter the month of October for the conference schedule.
UNC sits atop the Coastal Division with a 2-0 record as Miami, Virginia Tech and Virginia are in second place at 1-0. The next two weeks will feature games with a big impact on the conference standings, involving the Tar Heels.
After entering the Associated Press Top 25 at number 17, the Tar Heels will host the number 25 Hokies on Saturday in Chapel Hill. It will be the first top 25 matchup at Kenan Memorial Stadium since 2008.
The winner will take control of the ACC Coastal division and get an early edge in going to the conference championship game in December.
We already know the two teams will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, but now we have the time for the following week’s matchup as well.
The ACC announced on Monday that UNC and Miami will also kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET in Coral Gables.
Miami is currently ranked number 10 in the new polls but will have a tough test as they host the Florida State Seminoles on Saturday. The matchup between the Hurricanes and Tar Heels will likely be a top 25 battle and could even feature the Hurricanes in the top 10.
Last season UNC beat Miami in Chapel Hill enroute to their perfect finish in conference play.
