After some waffling, top OG prospect Campbell sticks with LSU

Fans in Baton Rouge were nibbling on their collective fingernails in anticipation of Donavaughn Campbell's announcement on Tuesday morning.

A top offensive line prospect from Ponchatoula, La, Campbell elected to bypass the chance to play at Georgia Tech -- instead opting to stick with his original commitment to LSU.

The 6-foot-5, 340-pound road-grader visited Georgia Tech this past weekend. Campbell's brother plays for the Yellow Jackets, and high school teammate Jahaziel Lee is currently committed to GT. As such, there was real temptation for Campbell to potentially flip his commitment. However, he held steadfast and will sign with Les Miles' program on Wednesday.

An incredibly massive individual, Campbell has the size to contribute from the day he steps foot on campus. Nasty and mean on the field, his disposition fits perfectly with LSU's run-oriented offensive scheme.
