The Texas A&M Aggies defensive transition under John Chavis hit a speed bump Thursday, as junior defensive tackle Jay Arnold announced he would no longer be playing for the team due to health reasons.
Arnold had undergone surgery on this shoulder this offseason and was expected to provide experience and depth to the Aggies front seven.
While Arnold may not have been the most productive player on the field, he may have been the team's most popular player on social media, as his twitter feed is highly entertaining. It's possible Arnold already has a jump start towards a career in social media.
