TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster left the Chattanooga game early with an apparent hand injury.
Foster appeared to be clutching his left hand as he came off the field in the first quarter for the top-ranked Crimson Tide. He had been wearing a protective covering on the hand during practices and games because of a chipped bone.
Foster came into the game easily leading Alabama with 70 tackles, including seven tackles for a loss and two sacks. The senior is projected as a likely first-round NFL draft pick.
