Andre Rison's son verbally commits to Michigan State
While he continues to put together what is shaping up to be his best recruiting class since arriving at Michigan State, Mark Dantonio kicked off 2017 recruiting with a verbal commitment from an in-state legacy prospect.
Hunter Rison, a 5-foot-11, 191-pound wide receiver from Ann Arbor Skyline, gave his pledge Saturday.
He is the son of Andre "Bad Moon" Rison, a five-time Pro Bowler from Flint who played in the NFL from 1989-2000. He was Michigan State's all-time leader in catches (146) and receiving yards (2,992) when he left East Lansing after the 1988 season.
The younger Rison had a bit of a gaffe in announcing his commitment, but he quickly corrected himself.
Blessed to announce that I have committed to the University of Michigan State✅✅#GoGreen
