Arizona has little to worry about vs. UTSA

Published Jun. 10, 2015 12:44 p.m. ET

It's never too early to preview the 2015 football schedule. Arizona opens the season at home on Sept. 3 against the University of Texas-San Antonio.

Last season, the Wildcats headed into the Alamodome and escaped with a 26-23 victory. While no team should never underestimate an opponent -- especially one that had you on the ropes the previous season -- Arizona Desert Swarm's Gabe Encinas writes that the Wildcats likely will avoid a scare this season against the visiting Roadrunners.

"Arizona shouldn't be too concerned in 2015, as UTSA will be without 36 seniors on their roster," Encinas writes. "They also lose their leading rusher in David Glasco II, who rushed the ball 150 times for 570 yards and five touchdowns."

It doesn't get any easier on the defensive side for UTSA. Encinas notes that the "Roadrunners' defense also takes a big step back, losing six of their top eight tacklers in 2014."
