Arizona RB Nick Wilson leads Pac-12 in rushing

Published Sep. 14, 2015 2:42 p.m. ET

Nick Wilson has been unbelievably impressive through two games for Arizona, recording 291 yards and 3 touchdowns on 43 carries.

His dominant rushing performance has made Wilson the most effective rusher in the Pac-12, with 19 more yards than Oregon running back Royce Freeman. Wilson is the No. 6 overall leader in rushing yards so far this season; Freeman cracks the top ten with the No. 10 overall spot.

There's a huge drop-off until the next Pac-12 appearance in the leaderboard, but UCLA's Paul Perkins comes in at the No. 35 overall spot.

Wilson has averaged 6.8 yards per carry and 145.5 yards per game for the Arizona Wildcats. He has also had less carries than five of the six players who have more rushing yards than he does this season.
