Arkansas HB Rawleigh Williams carted off the field after injury
Scary sight in Fayetteville as Arkansas freshman running back Rawleigh Williams had to be carted off the field after he sustained what appeared to be an injury to his head or neck area.
Play between the Razorbacks and Auburn was briefly suspended as the training staff of Arkansas was attending to Williams. After being down for several minutes, the cart was brought onto the field to safely remove Williams from the game.
According to the ESPN telecast, Williams was taken to the hospital for "precautionary reasons" following the injury. Williams was also said to be "conscious and was interacting with trainers on the sideline" before being taken to the hospital.
Despite Williams' injury, the Razorbacks prevailed over the Tigers, 54-46 after four overtime periods.
