Arkansas OL Tretola: 'We got that (Joe Moore Award) locked up'

College football is a game chock full of postseason awards and individual honors, however one new award seems long overdue, as the Joe Moore Award was just announced Monday. The award will honor the top offensive line unit, not singling out any individual lineman.

The award is named after famed Pittsburgh and Notre Dame offensive line coach Joe Moore and will recognize, “the toughest, most physical offensive line unit in the country.”

When informed of this new award and the prize going to the top offensive line group in the nation, Arkansas standout Sebastian Tretola had this response:

Probably a tad cocky, even for his bombastic head coach Bret Bielema, but that's what you get when you have one of the most renowned and accomplished offensive line group heading into a season.

For those who don't remember, Arkansas went so far as to put their offensive line on the cover of their 2015 media guide.

Decisions like that breed confidence that the unit will feed off heading into the season and use to compete for the SEC title in Bielema's third year in Fayetteville. If the Hogs do win the SEC, you can be sure their offensive line will be rewarded with the very first Joe Moore Award.

As Tretola would say, "It's in the bag."
