Arkansas RB Williams: 'Glad I was hurt and not Brandon Allen'

Many Arkansas fans were initially devastated to receive the news of Jonathan Williams' season-ending injury. The senior leader was one half of a two-headed monster at tailback for a Razorbacks team predicated on their physical running game. 

Well Thursday Williams offered a silver lining for Arkansas fans still upset with the news:

Strong words from the All-SEC performer but Williams is right. Considering Arkansas' offensive line, the Hogs should still be able to effectively run the ball with Alex Collins, Kody Walker and freshman Rawleigh Williams carrying the rock. 

Had the team's senior quarterback gone down, any chance of winning the West would have likely gone up in smoke and their injured running back knows it.
