ASU sophomore RB Demario Richard is setting yardage records
Arizona State running back Demario Richard didn't have a good game against New Mexico on Saturday; he had a historically "great" game.
With 104 rushing yards on 15 attempts and 151 receiving yards on four receptions, Richard was one of the most impressive players in college football this weekend. The sophomore from Palmdale, Calif. was electrifying on the field, and has now entered some significant record books.
According to DevilsDigest.com, Richard is one of three players in Pac-12 history to have rushed for 100+ yards and caught 150+ yards in the same game. He's also one of four FBS players since 1996 to accomplish that feat.
Richard has 298 rushing yards and 178 receiving yards through three games so far this season.
