Auburn vs Mississippi State live stream: Watch Tigers vs Bulldogs online
Here’s how you can watch Saturday afternoon’s Auburn vs Mississippi State game from Starkville online.
You can look at Auburn’s 3-2 overall record and say that they’ve had a disappointing start to the season, but in actuality, those two losses have been to elite team. The Tigers began the season against Clemson and only lost by six and then a few weeks later fell to the No. 17 Texas A&M Aggies.
Sean White has done a solid job at quarterback for Auburn, completing 68 percent of his passes for 983 yards and five touchdowns, developing a strong connection with Tony Stevens. The team’s top wide out has caught 21 passes for 344 yards and three scores.
The run game has been the most impressive for the Tigers through five games, though, averaging 270 yards per game. Kerryon Johnson leads the team with 517 yards and six touchdowns, but don’t sleep on Kamryn Pettway who has 336 yards and a score on 6.5 yards per touch.
Mississippi State has had a more disappointing start to the year, but is hoping to put that behind and start SEC play with a band. Taking down Auburn at home would be ideal, but the Bulldogs know that won’t be easy. Heck, this is a team that lost to South Alabama to start the year.
Sophomore quarterback Nick Fitzgerald is no Dak Prescott, but he has some of the same skills. He is completing 60 percent of his throws for 603 yards and five touchdowns and he also leads the team with 329 rushing yards.
The run game isn’t as effective as Auburns, but it can keep the Tigers’ defense on their feet with a dual-threat quarterback. Fitzgerald can also sling it and Fred Ross and Donald Gray lead the way in the receiving department. Those two have 43 combined receptions for 546 yards and five touchdowns.
