Ayeni's advice for Cyclones - embrace change with Campbell

It can be an awkward position for coaches on a lame-duck staff when a new regime is coming in. Louis Ayeni, Iowa State's running backs coach under Paul Rhoads, knows this all too well. Guys like Ayeni obviously had close relationships with the current roster, and when probed for advice, they're taking the high road.

“Like we said, change is inevitable, but greatness is a choice,” the running backs coach said. “The big thing with the kids, transitioning from coach (Paul) Rhoads to coach Campbell is just give him a chance.”

“These kids are going to go through a change,” Ayeni said. “It’s a process, and I think the end result is going to be they have no idea and I think it’s going to be fun watching it. It’s going to be interesting.”
