Baylor QB Seth Russell carted off with gruesome leg injury
Baylor quarterback Seth Russell sustained a horrific injury during Saturday’s game against Oklahoma, and was carted off the field.
Russell was tackled by a pair of Sooners defenders as he scrambled, and his left leg appeared to get caught beneath one as it planted, visibly snapping in some capacity. The injury appeared to take place just above his ankle.
Both the Bears and Sooners were shaken up afterward, with Oklahoma players coming to check on Russell afterward. The injury paused a heated game between the two sides

The seriousness of the injury is not yet known, but Russell could miss the rest of the season for Baylor, which entered Saturday ranked No. 25.
Russell broke his neck last November and successfully returned to the field this season.
