BC transfer QB from Kentucky relishing chance to play Louisville

When quarterback Patrick Towles transferred from Kentucky to Boston College he took his disdain for Louisville with him.

On Tuesday, the 2016 schedules for all of the ACC schools were released and it’s safe to say that Towles has one particular date circled on his calendar.

After seeing BC’s schedule, the graduate transfer QB tweeted: “Praise the Lord for the 5th of November.” Which of course is when Louisville heads to Boston College.

Towles is a graduate transfer who heads to BC with one year of eligibility left. During his time at Kentucky the QB has thrown for 5,099 passing yards and 24 touchdowns and has never beating Louisville.

Towles started 22 straight games for the Wildcats before he was supplanted by redshirt freshman Drew Barker in the last two games of the 2015 season.

Meanwhile, the Eagles used a plethora of quarterbacks in 2015, which should make for an intriguing training camp in 2016.
