Beavers coaching staff hits the recruiting trail
With spring practices officially out of the way, the Oregon State Beavers coaching staff is making plans to bring in a big 2016 recruiting class.
While the Beavers currently have four commitments and are ranked the No. 57 class, according to 247 Sports, the coaches are aiming much, much higher.
Some of the players that Gary Andersen and his new coaching staff have been targeting could be big time playmakers at OSU. Brennen Wooten, a three-star QB from Texas, is committed to TCU currently; however, the Beavers feel like they may be able to steal him. He would be a great get for the Beavers and would compete with Seth Collins immediately.
Other players the Beavers are targeting right now are WR Trevon Bradford (Oregon City, OR), OT Francisco Perez (Baldwin Park, CA), QB Avery Davis (Cedar Hill, TX - Class of 2017), DB A.J. Green (DeSoto, TX) and RB La'Darren Brown (DeSoto, TX).
