Beware flying quarterbacks in the Big Ten
Maybe it's a class at Iowa?
In the span of less than an hour in real time on Saturday afternoon, the current and former Hawkeye quarterbacks both scored touchdowns in similar fashion.
Jake Rudock did it first for Michigan, scrambling and diving for a 4-yard score early in the Wolverines' rout of Rutgers.

Then C.J. Beathard, whose rise up the depth chart hastened Rudock's exit from Iowa City during the offseason, did him one better by flying through the air for a touchdown for the Hawkeyes, who took a 21-17 lead over Iowa on the play late in the second quarter.
If you're gonna score, do it with style, eh?
Both quarterbacks were part of winning efforts on the day.
Beathard completed 19 of 31 passes for 233 yards with a touchdown in the Hawkeyes' 35-27 victory, and Rudock was 18 for 25 for 337 yards and two touchdowns.
