Bielema took advantage of opportunity to reach out to 2017 recruits
With the calendar officially turning to September Tuesday, the month not only marks the beginning of the college football season across the nation, it marks a key date for coaches in recruiting. Sept. 1 marked the date coaches had to wait for before they could reach out to potential prospects via Twitter or Facebook.
One coach took immediate advantage of that opportunity:
It's midnight on the eastern time zone and NCAA legal to direct message with top recruits. #WoooPig 2017 recruiting has started next phase!

According to Whole Hog Sports, as many as 15 prospects heard from Arkansas soon after the midnight deadline imposed by the NCAA was passed. Most of the prospects reached play in the pipelines of Razorback football of Arkansas and Texas.
Will being first pay off for the Razorbacks? If Bielema's previous recruiting track record is any indication, the answer is a big yes.
