Big 12 well represented on 75th Anniversary team

The Football Writers Association of America released its 75th Anniversary All-American team Thursday and a number of Big 12 players were honored.

Tight end Keith Jackson of Oklahoma as well as Oklahoma lineman Lee Roy Selmon, Baylor's Mike Singletary and Texas linebacker Tommy Nobis made the first team. Barry Sanders of Oklahoma State, Brian Bosworth of Oklahoma and a pair of Texas players – Jerry Gray and Russell Erxleben made the second team.

Here's a look at the Big 12 players who made the list:

Oklahoma – Keith Jackson, TE

Second team
