Big September gets national notice for MSU's Burbridge

Published Sep. 29, 2015 3:25 p.m. ET

Michigan State went into the season needing a new No. 1 receiver, and Aaron Burbridge has answered that call.

Folks out side of East Lansing have taken notice, including the ones with the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation, Inc., which announced Tuesday that Burbridge is one of 15 players from across the country added to the watch list for the Biletnikoff Award, which goes to the top receiver in college football.

Burbridge will enter October tied for third in the Big Ten with 24 receptions and second in the conference with 405 receiving yards. He also has four touchdown catches for the undefeated Spartans.
