Boise State vs New Mexico live stream: Watch Broncos vs Lobos online
Here’s how you can watch Friday night’s Boise State vs New Mexico game from Albuquerque online.
Boise State is off to a strong start in 2016, putting up a 4-0 record through five weeks and climbing up the rankings to No. 19 in the latest edition of the AP Poll. The Broncos are looking like the Chris Petersen era program again, but a tough road game looms on Friday night.
Brett Rypien, one of the top quarterbacks in the Mountain West, has been solid this season. After surpassing the 3,000-yard mark through the air last season, he’s off too a quick start again, passing for 1,024 yards and six touchdowns. He is on pace to put up eerily similar numbers to last season’s.
Thomas Sperbeck has been his favorite target, catching 24 passes for 431 yards and three touchdowns and Jeremy McNichols has been a force in the run game, amassing 504 yards and seven scores on 5.7 yards per touch. This offense has some play-makers.
The Broncos have a mediocre secondary this season, but that shouldn’t be an issue against a lackluster aerial attack from New Mexico. It’s the ground game that Boise State should be worried about. The Lobos average about 350 yards per game on the ground.
Teriyon Gipson leads the way with 399 yards and five touchdowns on an incredible 12.9 yards per carry. Five other rushers have accounted for over 100 yards already through four games as well.
