Box Elder DE commits to Cougars

BYU received a commitment from class of 2016 defensive end Darius McFarland, who announced his pledge to the Cougars via Twitter.
McFarland is an athletic 6’2”, 250-pound defensive end from Brigham City, Utah, who plays tight end on offense and runs a 4.8 40-yard dash.
In 2014, McFarland tallied 39 tackles and 4.5 sacks for Box Elder.

According to Rivals, the rising senior also had offers from Army and Wyoming.
