Brown holds off Columbia 28-23

NEW YORK (AP) Seth Rosenbauer raced 75 yards for a score, the defense scored on a fumble return and a blocked punt, and Brown ended its season with a 28-23 win over Columbia on Friday night.

Rosenbauer ran for 128 yards on 19 carries, with his big run on Brown's first offensive play. Bewely Wales fumbled on Columbia's first offensive play and Ludovic Richardson recovered it in the end zone for a 14-0 lead.

Sam Russel blocked a punt, then recovered it the end zone and Brown led 21-14 at halftime.

Marcus Fuller threw a 26-yard TD pass to Troy Doles in the third quarter and finished 10-of-19 passing for 97 yards and two interceptions for Brown (5-5, 3-4).

Skyler Mornhinweg was 25-of-35 for 204 yards with and interception for Columbia (2-8, 1-6). He threw a 5-yard TD pass to Cameron Molina and a 35-yarder to Scooter Hollis. Molina gained 174 yards on 40 carries and scored on a 1-yard run.
