BYU ranked No. 23 in Sports Illustrated's post-spring rankings

BYU scored the No. 23 spot in Sports Illustrated’s recent post-spring top-25 power rankings. The Cougars ascended to a No. 18 ranking last season in the AP Poll thanks to their 4-0 start, but a four-game slide submarined their season.

Still, SI’s Ben Glicksman felt positive about BYU’s prospects this year saying, “"Entering 2015, the Cougars may be set to make another charge. This offense should be able to hang with the best of them."

BYU will get plenty of opportunities to score high-profile victories early in the year as it faces Nebraska, Boise State and UCLA in the month of September.
