Can Beavers pull off upset over Stanford?
As Oregon State prepares to take on Stanford, the Beavers have to feel as though they're not going to get a better shot to pull off a big upset than this week.
Stanford is coming off of an emotional win over USC and is traveling to Corvallis to play on a Friday night. Moreover, Stanford is dealing with multiple injuries, including a sprained ankle suffered by QB Kevin Hogan. Lastly, because it's a Friday night game, Stanford only had three days to prepare for OSU before traveling to Corvallis.
While Stanford is still heavily favored, regardless of which QB plays, the Beavers have a shot to pull off a stunning upset.
Offensive coordinator Dave Baldwin believes that his offense turned a corner against San Jose State and will come out hot against the Cardinal.
"I think we're getting some momentum and starting to feel like we're an offense," said Baldwin. "So hopefully we're gonna come out and show them what we're all about."
