Check out LSU's brand new $2.5 million weight room

The college football arms race is never-ending, and the latest team to once again prove that this week was LSU. The Tigers unveiled a sparkling new weight room, which cost the athletic department a cool $2.5 million. It was part of a larger, two-part to upgrade LSU’s 11-year-old football facility overall.

Anyway, enough of the small talk: Check out the pictures below.

The weight room unveiling for the players was actually streamed on Facebook Live, and as you can tell, they seemed to really enjoy it.

Clearly Tigers’ players and fans are excited, and soon enough we’ll see how well it all translates to the field.

The Tigers opened camp on Wednesday, and begin their season against Wisconsin, at historic Lambeau Field in Week 1.
