Cincy OC Eddie Gran says he's accepted the same job at Kentucky

Cincinnati offensive coordinator Eddie Gran is expected to become the new OC at Kentucky, a source told FOX Sports on Tuesday. Gran is scheduled to meet with UK Tuesday to try and finalize the deal.

The 50-year-old Gran, who for years has been regarded as one of the country's top recruiters, led a prolific Bearcats offense the past three seasons, setting school records. This year, UC ranked No. 7 in the nation in total offense and No. 3 in third-down offense, despite having to rely on its backup QB for a big chunk of time.

Gran and UK head coach Mark Stoops worked together when both were assistants at Florida State. Gran also is very familiar with the SEC, having coached at Auburn and Tennessee previously.
