Clemson coach: Laptop comments challenge team's integrity

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 2:12 p.m. ET

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) Clemson coach Dabo Swinney says North Carolina State coach Dave Doeren's call to investigate a laptop on the Tigers' sideline was a ''challenge to the team's integrity.''

Doeren wondered why a laptop was seen on Clemson's sideline after the fourth-ranked Tigers' 38-31 win over the Wolfpack . The ACC said Sunday it had accepted Clemson's explanation that the computer was used by a student as part of the school's social media efforts.

Swinney said Tuesday that he has not spoken to Doeren since.

Swinney added that his players have been shoved by people on the Wolfpack sideline the past two seasons. Swinney said Doeren needs to be concerned with managing his sideline and not focusing on the Tigers.
