Clemson Football vs Georgia Tech: Official Injury Report
Clemson football will travel to Georgia Tech on Thursday night. Here is the official injury report for the Tigers heading into the match-up.
Injuries, as many have said before, can make or break a team.
The biggest key for Clemson football in 2016 is getting through the season without injuries. When players get hurt, it throws off the chemistry and such that a team would have otherwise.
Clemson has, for the most part, been about par with injuries this season through two weeks.
Here is the official injury report for the Tigers heading into the match-up with Georgia Tech.
No surprises here.
Ben Boulware said during his press conference on Monday that he could’ve played against S.C. State and he is at 100% heading into the Georgia Tech game.
Austin Bryant, according to many rumors, has been cleared for the Louisville game and that will be a great addition to the Tigers’ pass-rush if it turns out to be true. Clemson will put him through some intensive workouts this week after the game in Atlanta and will probably make a decision early next week, if not later this week.
Adrian Baker is also nearing a return.
As a matter of fact, he could be back as early as Louisville. The coaching staff will be putting him in 1-on-1 drills this week to see how he fares.
If I had to guess, they will probably hold Baker for the game against the Cardinals, but it is great news to be getting him back soon as many speculated he may not be able to make a return this season.
The Tigers will need to be careful, especially on defense, against Georgia Tech because of the Yellow Jackets’ blocking style.
Hopefully Clemson can get out of there without no more injuries and begin getting ready for Louisville.
