Clemson lands commit from four-star wide receiver

Four-star wide receiver Amari Rodgers showed Clemson some love on Valentine’s Day, as the standout prospect from class of 2017 committed to the Tigers on Sunday.

Rodgers is rated the 20th-best wide receiver prospect in the country by 247Sports and the 5-foot-10, 195-pound pass catcher is expected to bring a jolt to the Clemson offense.

Rogers, who attends Knoxville Catholic High School in Tennessee, held offers from several major schools including Alabama and LSU.
