Clemson LB Boulware has best response to draft analyst's criticism
If Clemson linebacker Ben Boulware needed added motivation to workout this offseason he found it in the form of Jon Ledyard.
During his junior season in 2015, Boulware ranked third on the team in tackles (82) and was named an all-ACC first-teamer as he helped guide the Tigers to a 14-1 record and their first appearance in the national title game since 1981.
Despite Boulware’s resume, Ledyard, an NFL analyst, is still skeptical. When asked on Twitter if he felt Boulware would be a top prospect in the 2017 NFL Draft, Ledyard responded by tweeting, “Probably not. Short, squatty frame with minimal tackle radius and limited athleticism. But man he loves football and contact.”

Boulware responded with the best possible answer, tweeting a clip of his one-handed interception of Oklahoma QB Baker Mayfield in the Orange Bowl along with a video of him tackling Alabama’s Heisman-winning RB Derrick Henry during the title game.
