Clemson Scores Touchdown on Worst Play You've Ever Seen
South Carolina State kick returner Ahmaad Harris made the worst mistake you’ve ever seen on Saturday against the Clemson Tigers.
The Clemson Tigers came into their game against the South Carolina State Bulldogs as a heavy favorite. When the Bulldogs make plays like this one, it’s not hard to see why they were expected to get blown out.
During Saturday’s game, the Tigers were already up 14-0 and kicking off to the Bulldogs. South Carolina State’s Ahmaad Harris fielded the ball in the end zone and decided that it wouldn’t be worth it to take it out to try and make a play.
However, instead of taking a need, Harris simply flipped the ball towards the referee. Harris didn’t realize what he had just done until it was too late. The ref just stared at Harris until he realized that the ball was still live. By then, Clemson had already fallen on the ball for yet another touchdown.
Nothing could be more embarrassing for a kick returner. We’ve seen players go in and out of the end zone before kneeling for a safety, but not taking a knee has to be the worst way to allow a touchdown we’ve ever seen. You can check out the video of the play below.

Things didn’t get much better for the Bulldogs. By the time the second quarter got started, Clemson was already up 31-0 and looking to put up even more points.
After their struggles in the first two weeks, Clemson needed a game to just dominate their opponent. Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney is probably hoping that this game will help give them some confidence moving forward.
