Clemson suffered a scare on Wednesday as star wide receiver Mike Williams and linebacker Korrin Wiggins were injured during a team scrimmage.

Williams, a 6-4 junior who caught 57 passes for 1,030 yards and six touchdowns last year, injured his hamstring.

Wiggins, a junior linebacker who made seven tackles during the Tigers win over Oklahoma in the Russell Athletic Bowl, hurt his knee.

WISTV reported that Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney said that Williams’ injury did not appear to be serious and that he was more concerned about Wiggins’ knee.
