The Michigan Wolverines are playing for a spot in the College Football Playoff when they take on the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Big Ten championship game Saturday in Indianapolis.

Here's everything you need to know about the college football odds for Saturday's matchup between the Wolverines and Hawkeyes — the point spread, moneyline and over/under (with all college football odds via FOX Bet).

No. 2 Michigan vs. No. 13 Iowa (8 p.m. ET Saturday, FOX)

Point spread: Michigan -12 (Michigan favored to win by more than 12 points, otherwise Iowa covers)
Moneyline: Michigan is -550 favorite to win (bet $10 to win $11.82 total); Iowa is +425 underdog to win (bet $10 to win $42.50 total)
Total scoring over/under: 43.5 points scored by both teams combined

With a victory, Jim Harbaugh's Wolverines will be one of four teams in the College Football Playoff semifinals. Michigan leads the all-time series 42-15-4.

An Iowa victory would put Michigan on the outside looking in as no two-loss team has made it to the CFP semifinals.

FOX Sports betting analyst Sam Panayotovich said the double-digit point spread was too significant to ignore.

"I am flipping on Michigan after betting 'em last week," Panayotovich said. "Nobody wanted to touch the Wolverines as an eight-point home underdog against Ohio State, but now the betting public is way too ready to lay 11 points on a neutral site with the same team. Got it."

The Wolverines are led by senior running back Hassan Haskins and senior defensive end Aidan Hutchinson.

Haskins has run for 1,232 yards on 244 carries (5.0 yards per carry) with 18 touchdowns. Haskins had 28 carries for 169 yards and five touchdowns against Ohio State.

Hutchinson is third in the country with 13 sacks.

The Hawkeyes had visions of making the CFP earlier in the season when Iowa was 6-0 and ranked No. 2 before consecutive losses to the Purdue Boilermakers and Wisconsin Badgers. Iowa has won four in a row since.

The Hawkeyes have three wins this season over ranked opponents – No. 17 Indiana (34-6), No. 9 Iowa State (27-17) and No. 4 Penn State (23-20). Iowa has won six straight against ranked opponents overall.

Junior quarterback Spencer Petras has reclaimed his starting job after missing three games with a shoulder injury.

Petras, who has a 13-4 record as Iowa's starter, is 137-for-236 passing (58.1 percent) for 1,532 yards, nine touchdowns and six interceptions.

Junior running back Tyler Goodson has rushed for 1,101 yards in 238 carries with six touchdowns for Iowa.

Iowa leads the country in interceptions (22) and ranks third nationally in takeaways (28).
