The LSU Tigers are 13–2 straight up and 10–4–1 against the spread in their last 15 games played at Tiger Stadium. The Tigers hope to use their home field advantage to propel them to an upset over the Alabama Crimson Tide this Saturday.

LSU is a 7.5-point home underdog at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. In its last four games played in the month of November, LSU is 1–3 SU and ATS.

Interim coach Ed Orgeron has breathed new life into the Tigers since taking over at the end of September. LSU went 2–2 SU and 0–4 ATS under Les Miles, who was fired after suffering an 18–13 loss to Auburn in Week 4.

Over their last three games, the Tigers are 3–0 SU and ATS, averaging 41.7 points per game on offense while allowing only 12.7 points per game on defense. Orgeron will have a chance to make a strong case for the full-time LSU job against the Tide.

The Tigers have been a home underdog just five times since the start of the 2009 season. LSU is 3–0–2 ATS in those five games with two outright upsets per the OddsShark College Football Database.

Alabama's offense usually runs through a dominant running back, but that system has changed under true freshman quarterback Jalen Hurts. Hurts has passed for 1,578 yards and 12 touchdowns through the team's first eight games while also rushing 95 times for 521 yards and a team-leading nine touchdowns.

With one of the most dominant defenses in the nation and a team average of six yards per rush, the Crimson Tide have coasted to an 8–0 SU and 6–2 ATS record. Alabama is 8–0 SU and 6–1–1 ATS in its last eight conference road games.

The total on Saturday is set at 45 points on the college football betting lines. The UNDER is 9–0–1 in LSU's last 10 regular-season games.

The Crimson Tide aren't likely to be rattled by a tough road environment, but this game will be the team's toughest test yet. The Tigers rank fifth in the nation in scoring defense and have one of the best offensive weapons in the game in running back Leonard Fournette.
